2 implants or 1 implant with a bridge?

by Dee

Do I need 2 implants or 1 implant with a bridge?

My son knocked his two front teeth out when he was 11. He is now 22 and went in for a consultation for implants and was told he needed a bone graft and two will need two implants.

He was told by a friend who is a dentist that it is better to have one implant with a bridge than two side by side implants as it may leave a gap and not look right. Is this true?

Hi Dee
If your son knocked out teeth area has sufficient space (from mesial to distal) that is better 2 implant than one. And so this not , may need orthodontic treatments for regaining really space and then implanting 2 implants for 2 teeth.
For more describe if may be pleas send your son teeth photography & x- ray images for me
Thank you
