Can I use an Astratech abutment with a Straumann Implant?

I am waiting for the gums to heal on 2 lower molar extractions and I want to use a certain Doctor who does Straumann implants. A friend suggested I consider using Astratech abutments as they are custom made and are better than Straumann. Can you advise me as to whether this is a good idea or should you get the abutment from the implant supplier. I am told the Astratech abutments also have Fluoride that encourages tissue growth.
