Cannot stand anything touching my gums

by Diane Caviness
(Hillsville, VA)

I guess I don't really have a implant problem, I have a gum problem. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem. I tried regular upper dentures and absolutely hated them; I couldn't stand the suction. So I had 4 mini implants put in and dentures made for them by a very reputable dentist. They have worked and worked with me.

I show no sore spots or pressure points but I simply cannot stand for the dentures to touch my gums, they feel like they're cutting into me and I have to take them out. I am MISERABLE and don't know where to turn. This is getting so expensive and if I go further with a fixed hybrid or even a full mouth implant of teeth I may not be able to stand that. Help!

Some patients don't accept acrylic material
by: DR FARHAN DURRANI

Some patients don't accept acrylic material used to make dentures ,it is normal ,for this you have to accept what is being made all over the world. Try to adjust ,if there is masticatory problem then consult your dentist, adjust with present appliance then go for fixed.
