This Continuing Education Dental implant course (CE) is designed for oral surgeons and periodontists that would like to enhance their knowledge and remain up-to-date as of the restorative phase of dental implants treatment, and in order to better treatment plan the surgical phase. This course will focus on up-to-date concepts and techniques, and will include clinical cases discussions and practical restorative and esthetic considerations for the placement of implants.

Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this dental implant seminar, participants will be able to:
1. Communicate more effectively with the restoring dentist regarding their expectations
2. Evaluate the pro’s and con’s of different implants while planning a case
3. Avoid soft tissue complications which may negatively affect the final outcome

Course Curriculum:

9:00 – 9:30 The evaluation of patients for dental implant restoration – the restorative aspect
9:30 – 10:30 Esthetic consideration for Implant supported restorations
10:30 – 11:30 An analysis of different dental implnats
11:30 – 12:30 Restorative solutions for mal-positioned implants - Case #1
12:30 – 1:00 Lunch
1:00 – 2:30 Treatment planning with a Restorative dentist – Case #2
3:00 – 5:00 Practical exercise and analysis
