Dental implants on my bottom 2 teeth?

by Veronica

My name is Veronica, I am 14 years old and havent had braces yet, but am hoping to get them soon. My bottom 2 teeth are still babies and do not have adult teeth growing in, so they will stay like that forever.

I think I need implants but am not sure, there is not very much room for them. is this what I need? And about how much do you think it would cost? I dont have an x-ray, but I will post a picture. What exactly do i need done? thanks

Hi Veronica,

First of all I would have your dentist or orthodontist take an x-ray to confirm that you do not have any adult teeth. Many times adult teeth can become impacted and never erupt due to space constrictions.

However, I do feel like since it is those particular teeth that you probably are actually missing them. Since you are still young and your mouth and jaws are still developing, I would recommend continuing on with your orthodontic treatment to correct the alignment of the rest of your teeth.

The orthodontist can make some more room on the bottom front area so that when your braces are complete (and your jaw is fully formed) you can have dental implants placed to replace those tiny baby teeth!

I had some issues near the jaw. I had severe pain. I didn’t know what to do. That is when I heard of this treatment and opted for this. It actually took some time for me to heal. view site

Veronica you have such a lovely set of teeth and they are very shiny. I understand your problem and you can find the theoretical solution from Dental implants are good but there needs to be some precautions taken while having them implanted. So, know all the terms before opting for such implants to ensure your teeth will always be shiny and white.
