how to place a mountless implant directly into the bone using a ratchet wrench


This dental implant course educational video was filmed in one of the NJ - D.I.T.C (Dental Implant Training Center)seminars. The video shows a placement of the new MIS-Implants mountless dental implants into a model jaw bone.

This procedure is done using a MIS-implants torque wrench and direct insert tool to bring the dental implant to the correct depth by engaging the implant’s platform instead of the fixture mount.

in the past a fixture mount was needed to connect the top of the implant with the wrench. Now the head of the implant is connected to the wrench directly using the new adapter called - the direct insert tool.
