Dental implant seminar Description:

This dental implant course is designed for dentists who have basic working knowledge and experience in dental implant placement. It will give participants a better understanding of the treatment planning process for dental implants, and will take participants, step by step, through the procedures of creation and use of various surgical aides to achieve optimal implant angulation, spacing, and parallelism.

Course Objectives:
1. Upon successful completion of the dental implant course, participants will be able to:
2. Use tomography and Simplant® computer guided implant dentistry for proper implant placement and predictable results
3. Fabricate CAD/CAM models and surgical guides for implant placement Hand-fabricate surgical guides, based on study models
4. Utilize other surgical aides, such as the Abrahami Drill Guide® system to achieve optimal angulation, spacing, and parallelism

• Intro to surgical guides and definitions
• Treatment planning
• Evaluation of radiographs
• Simplant® system use
• Review of hand-fabricated surgical guides
• Review of Abrahami® Drill Guide system
• Hands-on workshops:
Simplant® treatment planning and use,Fabrication of suck-down guides, Fabrication of Triad type guides, Use of Abrahami® Drill Guide system.
