Endopore Implants

Endopore implants which were designed by Sybron Implant Solutions are not like most common implants on the market today. Instead of having a thread design like other typical implants the Endopore system has a coarse surface coating for optimal osseointegration.

It has a truncated cone-shaped design with a very porous surface to achieve integration by 3-dimensional bone ingrowth. With this porous design it helps to increase the surface area at the interface between the bone and implant.

These implants also come in smaller sizes compared to most implants systems. The diamater comes in sizes of 3.5, 4.1, 5.0 and lengths of 5,7,9,12mm. With these unique sizes the Endopre Implants aid in cases where you need to avoid the sinus or other augmentation procedures.

Clinical studies have shown that shorter implants aid in shorter initial healing and simpler surgical techniques than other implant designs today.

Endopore dental implant
by: Dr. Lee

The Endopore dental implant incorporates a unique, shorter cone-shaped design that features a multilayered porous surface to achieve three-dimensional bone integration. Because the porous design increases the surface area between bone and implant, shorter implants can be used. This means that Endopore implants can be used in cases for which much longer threaded implants would be normally suitable. With Endopore, sinus lifts or other augmentation procedures in the maxilla and mandible may be avoided, allowing for less patient morbidity and for less traumatic and more affordable implant restoration for the patient

OT-F3
by: Jamenson

The above mentioned implant is outdated. After years of usage, a new implant, the OT-F3 was developed from OT Medical taking the experience and suggestions of users worldwide and incorporating these into a new design. Not only have the improvements lead to greater stability and success rates, but the new implant system now offers a large range of esthetic possibilities, platform switching and even smaller sizes. Another unique feature of the OT-F3 is the compatibility to interchange abutments with the longer screw type implant, the OT-F2. If you haven´t checked it out yet, see their website. You´ll be glad you did!
