Why do I have a very sharp pain (like an electric shock) after cleaning my implants by flossing?

Shock like pain is due to "galvanic" current as two metal parts meet.

It is doubtful that the pain you are experiencing is due to your implants. Most likely you are flossing sensitive areas of the gum and perhaps applying too much pressure by slicing into the gum. Try a toothpaste for sensitive teeth or a different brand or type of floss-- such as flossing tape, and use a more gentle stride while flossing next.
