I see you have had no feedback from your question I have exactly the same question and concerns as you and i also would like answered.

my dentist does not like to glue implants/crowns together for the reasons you suggested. If dentist is worried about teeth moving then you could wear a retainer or mouth guard at night to help the seat themselves permanently in time. Also you could have interior retainers put on... a a bit of a pain as it is like inside braces, but I wore one that lasted for years inside my lower teeth as there was a lot of wear. Now I just wear a retainer at night and if you hate the interior retainer, it can be chipped off. not a dentist but some things I have done.
