I have two of my baby canine teeth still present
I have two of my baby canine teeth still present on the maxillary side and the two permanent cuspids have displaced them self between the bicuspids. I was told by my orthodontist that I should remove the baby tooth (which is fine) and the first premolar. Is this common practice and would this dramtically affect the appearance of the face?
Also, there is going to be a huge gap in between and I worry that it might make me more self-conscious about smiling than I already am.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
