Implant crown keeps coming off

Implant crown keeps coming off:
I had an implant placed several years ago and restored by my dentist. The crown would stay on for several months and then I would have to have it recemented. This happenned numerous times until I swallowed the crown.

I switched to a new dentist and she made a new crown on the same abutment. It did well for 6 months, but has come off again.

What options do I have and should I return to the original dentist?

Retention
by: MW

Accuracy of the crown, material, retention, abutment and crown design and more .... all are plying significant roll when it comes to the issue presented by you.

In most cases crown will fall off abutment for lack of retention. If this is the case you will need to get new a abutment and crown, the doctor will need to maintain enough surface in order for the crown to stick and stay attached to the abutment.

If you can post a periapical X-ray it can be helpful in understanding your case.
