Implant fell off and broke

Hi
when I was younger I had my front tooth implant, it has a long rod shaped metal that goes into the upper bone of my mouth. Today my tooth fell off and landed on the floor and broke in half.

I am not sure what to do? and I feel it's going to cost a lot and I can't pay for it as I'm a student.

Please can you give me some advice to what options I have?

You can go again to dentist
by: Dentist Melbourne

It's useless, you can throw that implant away. Go back to your dentist, he will put a temporary prosthesis and call you back after three months for a new implant.

Implants can fail - in fact any treatment can fail!

Resin retained prosthesis
by: Dr Farhan Durrani

Please throw that implant- go to your dentist and ask for a resin retained prosthesis( It is cheap but temporary). Wait for a few months for a new implant. if you think it will be very expensive ,then ask your dentist to give you a tooth supported fixed prosthesis, alternate for implant , check the bone level around lost implant - you may need bone augmentation for good aesthetic results.
