Implant on a slant.

I viewed the xrays of my 4 implants after the bone had grown solidly. 3 were straight, but one was on a slant. I did not ask the doctor about this, and he gave no explanation. How can a molar be placed in a correct, upright position over a slanted implant?

Angulated abutment
by: S.k

An angulated abutment can be used to fix the angel that the implant was placed in.
Of course there's a limit to how much the abutment can fix - but there are abutments that can fix 30 - 40 degree angels.

All the best

Yes an angulated abutment can be attached ,so don't worry ,sometimes bone doesn't allow straight implant placement.
