Lost my bottom front tooth in a sporting accident

I am 15 years old and lost my bottom front tooth in a sporting accident. The dentist tried to replace my tooth (did a root canal job) but this did not work and my tooth has started to blacken.

My dentist says it is a matter of time before it falls out. Am I able to get a dental implant? And if I am too young, what should I do in the meantime while waiting to get old enough to have the implant done?

Ryan! wait till age 17 before getting implants. meanwhile ask your dentist to give you a resin retained bridge with support from adjacent teeth.
