Lower Permanent Denture

I have a lower permanent denture, with 6 implants. The denture was put in middle of October. Just 5 months later the gum portion of the denture is wearing away and I am seeing the metal implant.

Is this common or do I have something to be concerned about?

Implant overdenture is always associated with poor oral hygiene. Get oral prohylaxis done by your dentist regularly,gum exposed part will become alright

Permanent overdenture

Thank you Doctor for your comment. However, I am not certain I explained my situation correctly. The overdenture, pink/gum portion of the denture has worn away and the metal is exposed.
