What is the synthetic material used for a bone "graft" to preserve the upper bone ridge prior to an endosseous implant?

Is it some type of plastic?

There are three Bone graft types:
1- Autogenous bone ie your own bone taken from chin and illiac crest
2 - allograft
taken from human cadavers
3 - alloplast
made from synthetic materials
