Missing tooth

I'm 21 and had braces when I was 14. I am missing my lateral incisor (upper left), and I hate that my teeth aren't symetrical and my smile is lopsided. I was wondering what I would need to do to get a space created and then whether I could get a dental implant, or a mini dental implant?

I need the cheapest option because my parents paid for braces and are refusing to pay for anything else.

Implants are never cheap

Lauren, implants are never cheap. For the time being you can go for resin retained tooth brides,they are good for lateral incisor region ,they are good and esthetic ,once you start earning- go for implant
