Need to go through my sinus

I am in the process of an getting an implant. On my recent visit I was told the bone did not have enough area to place the implant and he would need to go through my sinus.

This got me very concerned.
Also that this would be an additional $1000. Please advise.

Don?t have enough bone in sinus area

You mean to say- you don?t have enough bone in sinus area and the dentist recommended a sinus lift before implant placement. This procedure is common and very the outcome is very predictable and successful.
Expensive? Talk to your dentist about it or go to a college of dentistry or dental school - it might be cheaper.
