No lower dentures for 40 years

I have not worn lower dentures for 40 years - just heard about the mini dental implants. Would this be a viable option for me? I realize I would have to be examined but just wondering if I should bother at all.

Having problem with your denture

If you are having problem with your denture(ie retention problems) ,then only go for implants
Please clarify your answer
