Overdenture case ( specialist question )

My Overdenture case-
I placed 4 implants in a mandible ,anetriorly very hard cortical bone ,ABDE postion according to misch , bone density more than
1800
after two months one implant failed D postion although pt was wearing the denture with soft liner in it


implants are not loaded till now

I want to give four implants before providing overdenture ,as I need to qualify for ASSOSIATE FELLOW PRACTICAL EXAM OF AAID
in this situation where should I place another implant again as point C in mandible is very narrow.
my implant daimeter were 2 - 4.3
2- 3.3

You didn't state what kind of attachment you will be constructing. If it is a ball overdenture or Locator attachment you probably can finish the case without replacing the failed implant. If it is a bar overdenture you probably need to replaced the failed implant in area D to stabilize the bar and denture over it.
Since you need the case for the fellowship exam of the AAID and to give the patient the best restoration available I would replace the failed implant in area D. since I don't know whether you grafted the area or anything about the area I would look for an area around the area of failed D and place the implant there.
