Pain After mini-implants

I had 6 mini implants put in on 6/26/10 ---ALL ON THE UPPER. (I HAVE WORN A DENTURE SINCE I WAS 16YRS OLD)The pain has Been CONSTANT since then. I can't even stand putting water in my mouth! I have pain pills, but my nose & my mouth still feel like they are 'burning',THEN MY NOSE FEELS COLD. The pain is in my mouth, the roof of my mouth feels absolutely RAW, my jaw, my eye, my neck all on the LEFT side.

The right side of my face is not too bad _ BUT the whole inside of my mouth is terrible pain. I go back to the dentist today 6/28- & I am going to ask that he remove the screws. How painful is that? Even if it is painful -it must end after so many day???

POST OPERATIVE INFECTION

This is post operative infection ,please consult your dentist immediately , get CT or OPG done to see what went wrong, take some antibiotics like amox or metrogyl and bruefen 400 mg
Please send scan x-rays with questions

Pain POST mini 's Procedure

Thank You . I did contact my dentist that evening, I got a perscription for antibiotics. The 'screw" was removed from my gum on 6/28. The pain became less. Since I now have BOTH upper & lower mini's (screws) in my bones/gums-- my whole mouth ACHES constantly ! Does this ever go away???
(The lowers have been in since Dec.-- the uppers 2weeks) Please give me words of encouregment to get through this!!)

Mini-Implant pain

Six weeks ago I had an oral surgeon remove three of my upper teeth and place two dental implants from my eyeteeth removal. Immediately afterwards I went to my General Dentist who placed two mini-implants in the front of my upper mandable right under my nose to hold in a temporary partial. I have had extreme pressure pain until a week ago when I had the oral surgeon remove them,(painlessly), I have had no more pain since then.

My General dentist when I went to him told me I couldn't have felt pain from them since there are no nerves in the bone. He then told me he no longer wanted me as a patient and for me to find someone else to complete the work he was to do.

Is this the way it should have been done? What can I do about it? BUYER BEWARE!!! My son, who is the Chief of Staff of a local hospital assures me that the mandible is quite capable of feeling pain and that I am not crazy. Eight Thousand dollars later and I still have no front top teeth.
