My friend just had a dental implant put in and his doctor used a Perizone perio patch ?

I am getting implants in a few months and was wondering if someone can give some more details about this Perio patch?

My friend had his procedure a few months back - his mouth was a mess and his dentist was able to solve his problem very nicely!

The dentists office is in Jerusalem - Israel and the doctor claims to be the inventor of this " Perizone perio patch ". He said it is his patent and that it does miracles in dental implant procedures.

I am from Israel too and seriously considering to travel to my friends dentist for the procedure(even though I live 2 hours away).

Again - can some one tell more about this patch ? Is it worth my time driving for 2 hours - to be treated by his dentist?

This is something new and in it's final stages of development and clinical trials.
I have not heard much about it but if it does deliver what the developers promise - then it's going to be amazing progress in oral maintenance.

I can't give any advice if the 2 hour drive is worth it but - he might be a good dentist regardless of the Patch....

I have been at Dr. Levine's practice in Jerusalem and it went really well!

I had 2 dental implants placed and restored 5 months after that. During the stages the Dr. used his patches (he called them - perio patch),he also gave me a mouth rinse that I used for a week after the placement and restoration.

I didn't have any pain whatsoever and healing was very very fast compared to what I was told by friends that had implants done a few years back.

I do recommend Dr. Levine
