Root operation.

I am 24 year old female, and have a root that has gone low into my gum line. My dentist has referred me to a hospital to have an operation to get it removed. Will I be able to get an implant their in the near future when it has healed? or would it have to be left alone?

Future Implant

Hi Kelly,

It's difficult for me to understand what your condition is by not seeing what it looks like. However, I will tell you that most people that have adequate bone levels are usually candidates for implants. If you do not have enough bone, your implant specialist may place a bone graft in this area. After time has lapsed for it to heal and establish itself, that is when the implant would be placed.
