12 year old molars

by Who Dat Queen B

I'm a teen whose last twelve year old molar is coming... The only problem is that it is impacted! It almost feels as if it is coming in underneath my other molar...

My question is, is it possible that I can lose my other molar because the twelve year old one is coming in underneath? Or do you think it's okay?

How long can you wait for implants?

I am a 17-year-old whose tooth #30 will most likely have to be removed due to nerve damage. My other option would be to get a root canal, but due to a lack of dental insurance, the financial costs don't appear to be in my budget.

My question is, if I get the tooth removed, instead of having the root canal done, will my mouth start to cave in? I am under the understanding that every tooth in my mouth will shift. If, later in life, I can afford to have an implant inserted, will I need braces to correct my teeth? Will I even be able to insert an implant at that time? How long can you go without? I have never had a problem with my teeth before, and I'm quite nervous.

Thanks.

Dental implant risks in children

Dental implant risks in children:What age can a child have an implant?
My 14 year old son was referred to an orthodontist over three years ago because his adult right upper canine was still high in his jaw (plus some baby teeth) and the school dentist was concerned it could damage the incisors.

We asked whether it should be removed along with the non irrupted baby teeth but were convinced by the orthodontist that with the removal of the baby teeth the canine may move on its own or if not, he could safely pull it down with braces.

X-rays taken last week to prepare for the braces to pull it down revealed that his upper right lateral incisor has been damaged by the canine moving horizontally in his jaw. It's root is completely gone. It will die and fall out or be pulled out. They will still be trying to pull the canine down and have started suggesting they move it into the incisors position and drag all his teeth along one space.

My son is over it. He just wants it pulled out and a fake one put in. Are there Dental implant risks in children ? Any advice would be appreciated.

Age limit for Dental Implants?

Is there an age limit for Dental Implants? I'm a 14 year old girl and I am missing one of my front teeth; my lateral incisor.

I was wondering if I could get a dental implant this year.. is that possible with my age?
