Surgically remove the tooth and replace it with an implant

by concerned mother
(Louisiana)

My 20 year old daughter has tooth no 15 (12 year molar on top) that is impacted. All other 12 year molars are all out and fine.

Her dentist wants to surgically remove the tooth and replace it with an implant. I am not sure if we should leave the tooth or have it removed?

If it is impacted and during removal there is a chance of bone loss ,better remove the tooth and graft the area and wait for 4 weeks before placing the implant

Well, I don’t think that it is necessary to make a surgery at this age, as this would not make any hardship for her in any ways. So, I think it would be better if you plan it to do by the age of 16 or something. housecleaning services
