Unfinished root canal treatment

I have had unfinished root canal treatment on one of my back teeth but I didn't go back to finish it. Becouse it hurt so much and now my tooth has broke in two. I still have the long pin looking things inside the root!

What will the dentist do to take the tooth out since it is broken?

Will I have to be injected agin to remove the damaged tooth? Will it be a painfull procedure removing the damaged tooth?

I'm sorry to hear about your fractured tooth. Unfortunately when we delay putting a crown on a tooth that needs a root canal the tooth usually cannot stand up to normal use, and may fracture or decay.

Extracting a fractured tooth is the same as a usual extraction. Of course you will need local anesthetic unless you want to feel what is going on. Ask your dentist for nitrous oxide gas to help you relax before your injection.

Your best option to replace this tooth would now be a dental implant. Talk to your implant specialist before the extraction to see if it can be placed the same day. It will need to be planned out in advance.

RCT TREATED TOOTH ARE PROBLEMATIC EXTRACTION BUT YOUR DENTIST SHOULD BE CAREFUL IN EXTRACTIING WITHOUT DAMAGING MUCH BONE.
ANYWAY IT IS JUST AN INJECTION WHICH CAN MAKE YOU GO FOR EXTRACTION WITHOUT PAIN
MAYBE YOU HAD A BAD EXPERINCE BUT ALL DENTISTS ARE NOT LIKE THAT
GO FOR IMPLANT AFTERWARDS
