Very late 12 year molars

My daughter is almost 18 years old and her 12 year molar on right side has not come down yet and has had pain in that area of mouth as well not sure what to do? Seen the specialst he has never seen this before ???

please post the intra oral picture,it is tough to tell without looking at the clinical picture.

There are several reasons for tooth not coming out on time, most probably there could be a developing cyst or some kind of lesion in that area. Please go to an oral and maxillo facial surgeon or post more detailed information.
