What is commonly used before the temporary tooth is installed?

my front tool has a crown and the root has broken. the dentist will remove the root and put in an implant and perhaps some bone grafting. after the implant is put in then i will wear some device to cover my missing front tooth which can be removed at night.

after putting an implant ,your dentist will wait so that osseointegration takes place between implant and bone ,it is about six months if bone grafing is included in the procedure
for that period dentist will give you an interim prosthesis which can be removed in night so that you are not without teeth
